Chilli Paneer

Chilli  Paneer (Restaurant Style)

 

 

 

 

 

 

Ingredients :

250 Grams paneer
1 Teaspoon ginger garlic paste
4 Tablespoon corn Star
4 Garlic cloves finely chopped 
1 Inch ginger finely chopped
1-2 Green chillies Chopped 
1 Capsicum chopped into cubes
1 Red bell paper chopped into cubes
1 Onion chopped into cubes
2-3 Tablespoon Soya Sauce
1/2 Cup water
Salt as per taste
Vegetable stock 1/2 cup
Oil for frying

Method:

1. Cut the paneer into cubes(about 2 inches)
2. Take one bowl and add paneer and 2 tablespoon of cornstarch. Add pinch of salt and ginger garlic paste and mix it well .
3. Toss it nicely so each paneer piece will get coated.
4. Heat the oil in frying pan.
5. Once oil is heated fry paneer on high flame until you see golden color.
6.Take 1/2 cup of water in another bowl and add 2 tablespoon of cornstarch to it.Mix it well so there are no lumps
7. Heat another pan and add 2 tablespoon of oil.
8. Add Chopped ginger ,garlic and chillies  and toss well.
8. Now add capsicum,red bell paper and Onion . saute it for 2 mins
9. Add vegetable stock and 2 tablespoon of soya sauce . Stir it well
10.Now add cornstarch mixture and keep stirring .
11. Add salt as per taste.
12. Cook the sauce until it becomes thick. Do not keep it watery (otherwise your paneer will not stay crisply)
13. Once sauce reached to desired thickness add fried paneer pieces to it.
14. Toss it for about 2 mins
15. Garnish it with cabbage ,spring onion and carrot(optional)
16. Server hot
