Sevai kheer
Ingredients
- 1 Cup fine Sevai broken to 1" bits
- 1/2 Litre milk
- 3/4 cup Sugar
- 1 Tablespoon ghee
- 1 Teaspoon cardamom powder
- 2 Tablespoon custard powder(Optional)
- 5-10 Strands of saffron
- 5 Thinly chopped almonds
- 5-6 Cashew nuts
Recipe
- Heat ghee in a pan on medium heat.
- Add sevai and roast it lightly.
- Put milk in a another deep pan and add custard powder,mix it throughly.
- Heat milk on a medium heat and bring it to boil.
- Add sugar and stir well until the sugar is dissolved
- Add sevai and mix it well.
- Now add cardamom powder, saffron, almonds,cashew nuts.
- Cook it for 5-7 minutes.
- Sevai kheer is ready to serve.
