Ghavan- Spicy & Crispy Indian Pankcake
Ingredient
1 cup shredded bottle gourd(dudhi Bhopala)
1 Cup Wheat floor
2-3 finely chopped green chili(Adjust to taste)
1 teaspoon ginger garlic paste
1 teaspoon Cumin Seeds
1 Teaspoon Turmeric Powder
1 Teaspoon Salt ( Adjust to taste)
1 teaspoon caram Seeds
1 tablespoon chopped coriander
1 Butter or ghee to fry
Recipe
- Sift wheat flour.Add 1 cup of water and mix it well to make a batter.make thin consistency as dosa batter.
- Add shreded bottle gourd to the batter.
- Now add turmeric powder, cumin seeds, chopped green chili,ginger garlic paste,salt, caram seeds, chopped coriander to the mixture and mix well.
- Heat the nonstick pan on a medium heat.Grease with some butter or ghee.
- Now spread the batter thinly like dosa.
- Cook the both side till it get crispy.
- Serve hot with green chutney or tomato ketchup
Note : Shred the bottle gourd without peeling . It will make ghavan more tasty.
