Aloo Sabji (Batata Bhaji)


Ingredient

  • 2 Boiled potato
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1 teaspoon ginger garlic paste
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 1 teaspoon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon asaphetida(Hing)
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 2-3 finely chopped green chili
  • 2-3 curry leaves
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon chopped coriander
  • 2 tablespoon oil



Recipe

  • Peel and chop potato into small pieces
  • Heat the oil in a pan on medium flame.
  • Add mustard seeds as soon as mustard seeds begins to pop up add cumin seeds and curry leaves
  • Now add Ginger garlic paste onion, asaphetida,turmeric powder and chopped green chili.
  • Fry it till oil starts separate from the masala.
  • Add potato pieces to the masala and add salt.
  • Fry it for 3-5 minute.
  • Garnish with coriander and aloo sabji is ready to serve



  • Goes well with poori or you can use this sabji for masala dosa.
